I woke up this morning to hear probably the worst news in my life.

My beautiful ginger cat, Persia, had been hit by a car.

Persia has been in my life ever since I was a baby. I grew up with her, and always considered her as my fluffy sister. She was always there for a cuddle when I got upset, and I was always there for her when she needed me. Persia lived for almost 16 years, as long as me, and I hope the life myself and my family gave her was enough. She was a lovely, gentle girl. Sure, she got ever so annoyed when I randomly hugged her while she sleeped, but all she'd do was give a little 'tsh, not you again' look and snuggle back down. Life will be very hard without her royal fluffiness patroling the house and stepping over our toes, but knowing that she had a quick painless death and a long comfortable life provides comfort. Your staff and family misses you very much, sweetheart. We'll always love you.
